The site was made up of 38 batteries which utilised Tesla's 2-hour megapack 2XL system. They can store enough energy to power c. 225,000 homes for 2 hours. 

The project will provide critical balancing services to the GB electricity grid network whilst also enabling the replacement of fossil fuels with renewable energy.  

Energised in October 2023, with a capacity of 99MW and 198MWh 

The site consists of 56 Tesla 2-hour duration megapacks connected to 28 no. 4200kVA 33kV/480V Wilson T2 Eco trans large distribution transformers and 2 no. 150kVA 33kV/415V.
