Microsoft Data Centres are a gloablly distributed infrastructure. that suport the Microsoft Azure Cloud. Will invest 2.5 billion in britain over the three years to double its Data Centre capcity and provide computing power to help drive the expansion of AI. 

In 2017 Microsoft bought the rights to electricity generated by a 180MW Wind Farm Vattenfall had built outside Amsterdam. This power is to make sure all Swedish Data Centres will come from renewable resources.
